Together, I can help you:

  • Icon of a person standing on a pedestal with hands on hips, symbolizing confidence or achievement, with lines radiating outward.

Move from constant overwhelm and emotional reactivity to grounded clarity, confidence, and intention

  • Outline of two hands clasped together in a handshake with motion lines indicating movement or emphasis.

Stop carrying the weight of being an educator alone, and start feeling supported, understood, and equipped

  • Outline icon of three people with a star in front, representing a team or recognition.

Become the kind of leader or organization that people trust, respect, and want to be a part of

Working in education today feels heavier than ever

The pace, complexity, and emotional demands of our work has intensified. Many educators and organizational leaders are carrying enormous responsibility, navigating constant change, and holding space for others—often without time to pause, reflect, or breathe.

You may feel:

Overwhelmed by competing demands

Disconnected from your deeper purpose

Emotionally stretched and depleted

Unsure how to lead with integrity in uncertain times

You’re not alone, and you don’t have to carry this weight without support.

Meet Lori Cohen

I’m a coach, facilitator, author, and thought leader supporting educators and organizations in navigating complexity with clarity, humanity, and wisdom.

I’ve written multiple books on growth, leadership, learning design, and transformation, and for decades I’ve worked alongside educators, administrators, and leadership teams across the country (and world!).

My work blends reflection, emotional intelligence, and practical skills to help educators think deeply, act intentionally, and stay grounded in what matters most, especially in times of uncertainty and change.

I support educators in moving from overwhelm and isolation to…

clarity, confidence, & community connection

Through my work, I help educators and organizational leaders navigate complexity, responsibility, and change with practical skills they can use right .

My work creates space for reflection, emotional grounding, and deep learning—so educators can reconnect with their values, strengthen relationships, and lead with intention rather than urgency.

Clients leave this work feeling steadier, clearer, and more confident, with renewed direction and practical insight they transfers to their roles.

My approach

I’m guided by a concept from Jewish tradition called tikkun olam, often translated as repairing the world.

For me, this doesn’t mean fixing everything or striving for perfection. It means paying attention. It means noticing where things feel strained, disconnected, or fragile—and responding with care, presence, and responsibility.

I believe each of us can contribute, in small and meaningful ways, to creating conditions where people and communities can live with greater wholeness, dignity, and possibility.

I do my part through acts of creativity: learning design, workshops, conversations, coaching, and writing. These are spaces where we pause, reflect, learn deeply, experience joy, ask honest questions, connect with one another, and imagine what might become possible—together.

This is the spirit that shapes all of my work.

Ways we can work together

  • Colorful paper notes hanging in rows on strings among trees with sunlight, suggesting an outdoor event or gathering.

    Workshops & Facilitation

Let’s learn together about the topics that best support your site/organization.

  • Two ceramic coffee mugs filled with dark coffee are placed on a moss-covered surface outdoors, with a blurred natural background of trees and greenery.

    Coaching & Consulting

Whether 1:1 or with a team, let’s partner on ways to support your site/organization with the pressing challenges and questions you’re working through.

  • Notes and a pen on a moss-covered tree stump in a forest setting.
